Performs all phases of the software development lifecycle
Analyzes user/business needs and functionality to plan and design software systems to meet those needs
Creates a variety of models and diagrams that show programmers the software code needed for an application
Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to meet business needs
Provides analysis for reports on software project specifications, activities, or status
Advises on the software or system for optimal documentation and future maintenance and updates
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
May serve as a team or task lead
Skill and Experience Requirements:
o 4+ years of Java work experience
o 2+ years of web application development experience (Tomcat and JEE)
o 2+ years of Oracle database experience including familiarity with PL/SQL scripts
o o REST Web Service experience is STRONGLY recommended
o Spring/SpringBoot Framework experience is STRONGLY recommended
o Experience with Kubernetes deployments is recommended
o Experience in the use of ETL tools, particularly in a migration from non-relational systems to relational data stores.
o Experience working with automated build environments and tools like Jenkins and Maven
o Experience with Junit, SONAR, Cloudbees, Jersey are a plus
o Experience with migration patterns from legacy data storage mechanisms to web based, more standard data stores. This experience should include experience dealing with legacy style data stores.

The likely salary range for this position is $96,000 - $144,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
