We have an immediate opening for a SharePoint developer who will be responsible for migrating existing SP2007 sites to SP2013, creating new sites and supporting existing applications and sites. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and creative SharePoint developer with working knowledge in different versions of SharePoint and has background in web application development using the CSOM model.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent with at least 5-6 years’ experience in a related field. Experience can be substituted for qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Work with the team to migrate existing sites from SharePoint 2007/2010 to 2013 platform
· Create web applications
· Work with the customer to understand and evaluate requirements
· Solve business problems with innovative ideas
· Participate in design and code reviews
· Self-motivated, resourceful and be able to work with little to no guidance or supervision
Ability to work individually or in teams
Excellent customer service and communications skills
Experienced with SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 On-Premise
Strong experience with SharePoint hosted apps and provider hosted app – Must have
Strong experience with using C#, ASP.NET WebForms and MVC to create web applications for SharePoint
Experience with PowerShell scripting
Experience with SharePoint 2013 online and 2016 is a plus
Experience with migrating sites from SharePoint 2007 to 2013 is a big plus
Experience with REST API
Experience with administering SharePoint farm and sites.
Experience troubleshooting issues during SharePoint patching.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
