Senior ICAM Architect needs to provide guidance to formulate and define ICAM systems scope and objectives based on both user requirements and a thorough understanding of business and security requirements. Directs the process to gathers requirements, estimate effort and to deploy and maintain ICAM solutions. Provides expertise for best practices for identity management, access controls and credential integration for multi-factor authentication (MFA). Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex ICAM related software and hardware issues.
Includes analysis of security policy and regulations, assessment of ICAM requirements and their translation into proper ICAM system requirements specifications and implementation. Provides consultation on complex ICAM related projects and is considered to be the top-level contributor/specialist in most phases of ICAM systems analysis and implementation. Develops migration approach and tools for applications and users using different forms of authentication, authorization and provisioning to enterprise ICAM platforms. Provides SME to develop concept of operations on administration, identity policy enforcement, migration, separation of duties and change management for ICAM solutions.
The Senior ICAM Architect organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems. Responsible for coordinating with other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance. Conducts capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations. Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessments. Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Able to perform direct and advisory roles in oversight, planning and implementation of projects and initiatives. Responsible for the design, planning, & integration of various database development efforts for a variety of applications. Advise management and team members of risks associated with technologies and implementation approaches and identify methods of risk mitigation. Conduct problem resolution and identify process improvements. Interface as needed at multiple levels of management, providing information and thought leadership in technical areas.
Responsibilities but not limited to:
Create custom image containers with specific configurations
Create containerized virtual networks, volume mappings, and port passthroughs
Automate deployment and management of containers via automation scripting
Troubleshoot issues across the enterprise to include containerization issues
Create containerization architecture that can scale or shrink “on-demand”
Ability to navigate Linux CLI, troubleshoot, create services, update OS, etc.
Create service stacks which can easily be duplicated across the enterprise in an automated manner
Implement automation orchestration to replace repetitive tasks which are being conducted manually
Provide recommendations for improvement across the enterprise as well as migration strategies from legacy to containerized and automated platforms
Strength in multitasking and prioritization in order to meet periodically changing deadlines
Self-starting and able to drive projects to completion in a fast moving environment
Solid communications skills, both written and verbal. Able to create, discuss and explain technical documentation.
Develops documentation for engineering from requirements and architectural designs, and diagrams.
Actively manages project risks and issues to close technical gaps in the project. Extensive experience as a systems engineer in a government environment, dealing with business critical, high availability systems.
Experience of designing and implementing highly available solutions.
Ensure data integrity by evaluating, proposing, implementing and managing software and hardware solutions.
Recommend and implement system enhancements that improved the performance, security, and reliability of the system

Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree and additional experience may substitute
Must possess and maintain a U.S. Secret Security clearance, TS/SCI preferred
Must meet 8570.1 IAT Level 2 certification requirements
Experience conducting analytical studies including enterprise architectures that relate to ICAM
Identity Management and Authentication/Authorization experience
Experience in designing and implementing DoDAF enterprise identity, credential, and access management architecture.
Linux+ or equivalent certificate/experience
Experience developing coding/scripting to build required automation and tools
Experience with DevSecOps concepts, tools and automation skills
Familiarity with industry standard host-based security systems (HBSS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solutions (ACAS)
Mixed operating systems experience: (Linux, Windows)
Experience troubleshooting issues related to storage
