At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Systems Engineer supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to work on Agile Software Development and systems modernization . In this role, a typical day will include:
Engineering system architecture for new or existing computer systems including web-based and mobile applications.
System and application development to include design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing
User-centric design practices, user experience design, and section 508 compliance.
Cloud deployment, and modernization
Creating documentation for processes and procedures related to the projects
Agile and Scrum methodologies
Maintaining current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Social Science.
9 Years of relevant experience to include developing and managing cloud-based infrastructure, supporting the operations and configuration of Azure App Services and Azure SQL Services
Ability to pass a government security investigation for Public Trust

The likely salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
