Be a part of the men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Sr. Software Developer to support the Navy Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana.

Duties include:

  • Write new code in C# and WPF / XAML that adheres to modern best practices and standards

  • Document code and engineering procedures

  • Participate in virtual team meetings

  • Assist in creation of user manuals and other technical documentation

  • Help to facilitate functional testing of software

  • Utilize VMWare

Position Requirements:

  • BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • 3+ years of Software Developer experience

  • Experience with C# .Net, Java; relational databases such as SQL Server, Postgres; source control such as Git, Subversion, or similar; experience with VMWare

  • Experience in an Agile development environment

  • Experience with project management software such as Jira, Gitlab, or similar

  • Prefer experience with network interface technologies, e.g., SNMP, Redfish API, vCenter API, PowerShell, etc.

  • Security+ certification

  • US citizen; must be able to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start
