General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Technical Agile Analyst to support our Program.

Join an exciting and dynamic team delivering a large-scale Enterprise Common Tools cloud platform, automation & orchestration, and Cloud Application Migration effort for the Army. This team works in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with engineering, migration, and operations & sustainment of cloud migration efforts. Enterprise Common Tools and specific Army program customer migration efforts provide a range of day-to-day challenges, while the bigger picture architecture and migration efforts provide tangible milestones that the team pursues together following AGILE practices, to deliver the overall program effort. We’re looking for self-starter Leads and technical engineers, to work both as part of the team and on individual assignments, in an environment of customer mission delivery, integrity and communications. We’re looking to fill this role/team with those who currently have the cloud experience, certifications, and skills to execute in large enterprise environments, are flexible and enjoy tackling challenges, and desire to join a large team that is building and sustaining a large multi-tenant cloud platform/enterprise and migrating/expanding/automating the enterprise. We are looking for curious, intelligent and motivated people with strong analytical skills who are interested in becoming part of an Agile team. As an Agile analyst, you will be working with a dynamic group of functional analysts, developers, engineers, and admins at GDIT to help the Army PEO to solve real problems and the challenge of delivering higher quality products and services.
The applicant serves as a core support member for the team working closely with Product Owners and high performing development and engineering teams to help manage the product. The knowledge and skills gained in this position prepares the applicant for a career in Agile business analysis where these environmental policies and regulations would be translated into requirements for supporting the maintenance and modernization of Federal information systems.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assists in planning and designing business processes; assists in formulating recommendations to improve and support business activities.
  • Assists in analyzing and documenting clients business requirements and processes; communicates these requirements to technical personnel by constructing basic conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates.
  • Assists in developing and modifying systems requirements documentation to meet client needs.
  • Participates in meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
  • Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify intent of change is carried through phases of project.
  • Support Product Owners and Business Analysts in their management of requirements and product features.
  • Assist with the management of requirements and collaboration sessions using ServiceNow
  • Assist in the research and assessment of business goals, objectives and needs to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical personnel and business area.
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings for collaborators.


  • BA/BS 5+ Years of Experience
  • Understanding of ITIL and Agile Models of Work Management including ITSM and SCRUM
  • Experience Supporting Technical Teams in the Decomposition and Planning of Technical Work
  • Experience with ServiceNow or Jira for Managing Work Delivery
  • Experience Developing Progress and Status Reports for Customers
  • Experience Working in Waterfall or Agile Delivery
  • Experience Diagramming Systems and Business Processes
  • Experience preparing and maintaining technical documents and knowledge articles
  • Active Secret Clearance is required to start

Desired Skills and Certification:

  • ITIL Foundations Certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
  • Experience with ITBM Module in ServiceNow
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio or other diagramming tools
  • Familiarity with the DoD Risk Management Framework
  • Experience designing forms and layouts for web-based applications


COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: To protect the health and safety of its employees and to comply with customer requirements, GDIT may require employees in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Vaccination requirements will depend on the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $64,000 - $96,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
