Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications


Senior SharePoint developer utilizing model and event driven design practices including rapid proofs of concept, data analysis, and functional testing. Responsible for expert level design, planning, implementation and operation of SharePoint solutions to meet business needs. Manage and execute all aspects of front-end and back-end development. Apply well developed process evaluation skills to achieve the desired business outcome. Utilize SharePoint Workflows, Nintex, web-forms, and other available methods to develop and complete implementations to meet a wide rage of internal and external customer needs.


Job Responsibilities


  1. Lead technical design and development, evaluating and troubleshooting functional design and system architecture, component and framework programming, as well as driving the technical decision process.
  2. Lead client process/workflow design sessions
  3. Employ rapid concept of operations techniques and deploy pilot workflows prior to wider rollout of new capabilities
  4. Shape the strategy, architecture, methodology and standards for delivering SharePoint solutions
  5. Provide leadership and guidance on planning, design, and developing the programs SharePoint solutions
  6. Guide a team to produce user-focused solutions in a fast-paced, agile development environment
  7. Work in a matrixed environment with other engineering teams to meet business and program objectives
  8. Develop product functional and technical requirements and design documents and specifications based on business requirements



Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.


Agile development certifications preferred.




Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
  • 10+ years of related experience, with at least 2 years of experience on a program that provides IT infrastructure services.
  • Expert level SharePoint workflow development including use of Nintex, java scripting, and web forms
  • Excellent client process design facilitation skills and the demonstrated ability to translate client intention onto a technical solution
  • Excellent data evaluation skills and use of tools like MS Excel or Tableau
  • Ability to present processes, workflows, and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to present data and concepts to large audiences
  • General knowledge of ITIL Management Practices
  • Knowledge or experience with Agile Scrum practices
  • Excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised or within a small team
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple project tasks
  • Ability to work within accelerated schedule timelines while delivering high quality products to the customer
  • TS/SCI clearance required


Desired Skills:

  • Program Management Professional (PMP), Agile, and or Advanced ITIL Certified
  • Demonstrated experience with NGA or Mission Partners
  • Experience or understanding of analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or Talend
