The program Conducts 24/7 DCO to support activities on Air Force satellite mission systems. Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Typical tasks include perform monitoring operations; report cyber security events and anomalies; provide analysis and recommendations, Vulnerability Management (VM) and Malware Protection / Vulnerability Assessment and Analysis (VAA), Intrusion Analysis and Correlation Information, incident handling, mission operations transfer, exercise and assessment support.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Manage all aspects of the program. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of the program.
Serve as primary customer point of contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss operations, schedule, and technical performance.
Interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
Responsible for managing contract resources to deliver quality services within the scope of the contract.
Provide leadership, supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel, inclusive of subcontractors/teaming partners.
Leverage leading-edge IT/DCO solutions to improve the customer's mission effectiveness while continuously seeking opportunities to increase efficiency through improved processes and technology.
Assess program issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Mitigate risks, controls costs and schedule variance, and effectively manages large scale, integrated projects.
Perform DCO functions as needed staying mission qualified by keeping up to date on current processes and procedures.
A minimum current active Top Secret security clearance is required. Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility also required.
3+ years of experience in CSSP work; 3-9 years of related experience in data security administration
Appropriate Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) certification per DoD 8140/8570 for either: CSSP Incident Responder (either CEH, CFR, CSA+ (CySA+), GCFA, GCIH , or SCYBER cert) or CSSP Analyst (either CEH, CFR, CSA+ (CySA+), GCIA, GCIH, GICSP, or SCYBER cert)
Prior experience with the following tools is highly desired: LogRhythm, Suricata, Kibana, ELK, Bro, Snort, HBSS, Wireshark, and Solar Winds. Tools are used to perform detect, protect and respond functions.
