GDIT has recently been awarded a project for HHS Electronic Invoicing (E-Invoicing) Implementation in support of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources (ASFR) Office of Finance (OF). We will implement the Department of Treasury’s Invoice Processing Platform (IPP) electronic invoicing solution in the UFMS environment. Additionally, we will implement web services using Oracle’s Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to integrate the Office of Acquisition’s (OA) Purchase Request Information System (PRISM) with UFMS. Beyond the technical solution, we will support the development of training for IPP Implementation. This position is currently remote due to COVID-19 and may morph into a hybrid role with on-site support required in Washington DC, SW pending broader GDIT and Federal guidelines.
GDIT is seeking an ERP Training Specialist who can work closely with technical teams and the organizational change management team to guide the design, delivery, and rollout of global end-user training for the new ERP system, and related business process changes. The candidate will guide in the selection and application of appropriate training methods, including, e-learning and remote webinar sessions. The candidate will also support the design of dynamic learning materials tailored for HHS global staff and conduct training sessions and analysis to help inform materials design and delivery methods. Must have experience developing training materials for ERP systems.
Develop training content (job aids, fact sheet, etc.) for federal client ERP system
Provide ERP training application knowledge, and methodology expertise
Create and implement custom ERP training programs that demonstrate knowledge of adult learning principles and incorporate best practice delivery techniques
Plan, design, develop, organize, write, and edit instructor-led training content as well as storyboards for electronic learning modules (WBT, CBT, eLearning) for ERP system
Interview client team and technical experts to collect necessary information to design and develop blended ERP training solutions
Support conducting ERP Train-The-Trainer sessions and other training delivery efforts
Support design and develop high-quality, scalable ERP training in collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts, managing the schedule and quality of each development project and associated deliverables
Support creation of high-quality and valid ERP training plans and artifacts to assess evidence of learning for both formative and summative performances to maximize learner understanding and retention of content
Review and update existing ERP instructor-led and online content and curate the most relevant content to be included in the course
Assess and determine ERP end user community’s learning needs and partner with SMEs to develop outlines, scripts, scenarios, storyboards, and simulations for online courses
Work closely with project team to develop ERP training guides, PowerPoints, online resources, websites, and handouts for all training delivery channels
Research, design, and develop relevant, engaging, effective and highly creative ERP learning solutions that incorporate instructional design best practices and push the boundaries of available technologies to deliver the best possible solution that is consistent with client needs
Assess ERP training needs through regular communication, and write training material as required and specified
Organize, conduct, and facilitate ERP training activities with cross-functional team members and project stakeholders to support the adoption of business transformation efforts
Track and report issues that may impact client delivery for ERP training efforts
Support activities related to ERP training and change management activities such as organizational design and evaluating user readiness in coordination with workstream leads, subject matter experts, project team, and client team
Required Skills and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Experience with Oracle Federal Financials project
3+ years of experience with major ERP systems, modules, and the ability to display strong knowledge in ERP systems training methods and techniques
Experience designing and delivering training in 2-3 or more of Oracle EBS R12 Acquire to Retire (A2R), Budget to Report (B2R), Cost Accounting (CA), Order to Cash (O2C), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Procure to Pay (P2P). Note: Procure to Pay (P2P) experience is a plus.
Experience conducting beginning to advanced-level online and in-person training sessions on the use and setup of our software across all modules
Prepare training session reports and document all training correspondence and materials
Strong working knowledge of MS tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.
Strong comfort with virtual collaboration tools such as WebEx, Skype, Microsoft Teams
Candidates must have resided in the U.S. for three of past five years to meet the residency requirement for the project

Experience working in an agile environment
Broad expertise in training concepts, practices, and procedures, and expertly performs a variety of complex tasks with minimal guidance
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including able to communicate technical issues in a straightforward and concise manner
Experience working with HHS, CMS, FDA, NIH, CDC, or comparable large Federal agency.
