Designs and develops instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements. Develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials. Designs and develops computer based training, web-based training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions. Develops flow diagrams and story boards. Designs instructionally sound lessons in a variety of delivery media. Supports technical writing requirements and quality assurance reviews as directed by quality management system (QMS) process for Sailor 2025.
Develops associated media products needed to support courseware products.
Could include graphics, animation, audio, digital video, still images, etc.
Conducts field production and postproduction to produce video elements of a curriculum development program.
Designs and develops computer based training, electronic performance support systems and other technology-based learning solutions.

Works on noncomplex instructional systems design projects
Oversees the completion of specific programs and projects.
Oversees the technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
Oversee the analysis of employee learning needs and subject matter expert partnership.
Oversee outlining tasks for the concept for course or curriculum, defining the needs for the course, the course medium, content delivery, assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches.
Oversee the development of learning solution documentation (e.g., storyboards, project schedules, video scripts, job aids, and courseware).
Oversee the development and monitoring metrics for evaluating training and development effectiveness.
Apply instructional design methodologies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Also possesses excellent interpersonal and teaching skills.
Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards.
May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience, Active Secret clearance preferred
The likely salary range for this position is $56,000 - $84,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
