Our work depends on a Junior Procurement Analyst supporting our team on our Joint Service Provider – Enterprise Transport Management Next Gen program (JSP ETM-NG) located at the Pentagon.
HOW A JUNIOR PROCUREMENT ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Performs a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.
Monitor and update various status reports, metrics, and invoice development.
Interacts with senior staff to ensure conformance to customer and GDIT Policy requirements.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership and Senior Management.
Creative problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box. The work environment is fast paced and requires the ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
Validate invoices for Finance and Management approval.
Participates in special projects as required.
Self-motivated, detail oriented, with strong follow-up skills to ensure completion of tasks.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Required Experience: 2 years of Procurement experience.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Required Technical Skills: Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Location: Pentagon/Taylor Building (Customer Site)
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance desired
Preferred Skills: Experience with Oracle Business Analytics (OBIEE) and SC360 Procurement System
