  • Join the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. GDIT is seeking Joint Interface Control Officers with Air Force ISR experience to join the GDIT on potential new work at Lackland AFB, VA.

  • Must be familiar with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 3115 and the Joint Data Net Operations (JDNO) series of instructions and manuals, CJCSM 6120.01 JMTOP, and applicable TTPs.

  • Support 16 AF operational mission as the primary managers of the MTNs within the JICC.

  • Act as the 625 OC senior interface control officers supporting MTN operations and the MTN coordinators for the JDNO within the theater/Joint Operations Area.

  • Support the creation of a Common Tactical Picture (CTP) for all theater warfighters.

  • Responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing the architecture and technical integration of joint data and communications systems for the MTN.

  • Manage MTN components including TDLs

  • Provide 24/7/365 JICC support to identify, establish and maintain the datalink architecture and network design parameters required to connect the various operational units within the JDN.

  • JICC support shall include Program JDN expertise and Joint Multi-TDL operational infrastructure point of contact(s) for inter-service coordination and operational planning.

  • Provide support to 25AF subordinate units and IC partners ISO aircraft reporting; data link connectivity planning and data routing; coordination and deconfliction of ISR units assigned JUs; and track blocks both within and between CCMDs in support to ISR Unit Datalink PACE strategy.

  • Provide operational support for the identification of unique information to support the timely, accurate, and complete forwarding of tactically actionable and relevant information via TDL of unique friendly, enemy, neutral and CID information into the JDN IAW unit TTPs, theater guidance, and data owner security requirements.

  • Support the utilization of and training on operational equipment configurations.

  • When not included in Operational Tasking Data Links (OPTASKLINK), the JICC support shall provide any additional information for operations directly to participants via alternate procedures, assume the role of network manager for TDL operations, and develop architectures for events and verify correct inclusion in other architectures in which the customer participates in both operational an exercise events.

  • Operate and administer data link C2/Cursor on Target (CoT)devices/software to include but not limited to: JADSI, JRE, ITGW/MSCS, RADIANT MERCURY, LMMT, WinTAK, SATCOM BLOS radios/antennas, and LOS radios/antennas.
  • Have operational knowledge and be able to use multisource correlation tools in daily activities, to include, but not limited to:pH-1, TALON THRESHER, FADE MIST, and AARDVARK
  • Provide expert support of 625 OC/JICC’s role as the designated NSA voting representative to the JMTSWG/JMTCCB as well as subsequent foreign government/NATO bilateral datalink meetings.
  • Review technical position papers and proposed standards changes for all data link mediums under the umbrella of the JMTSWG/JMTCCB
  • expert advice, mission applicability, and technical position recommendations to the government voting panel member on proposed changes; and develop background/position papers on applicable changes to NSA’s datalink missions and consults with the various NSA directorates on said proposed changes.
  • Provide proficient oversight in the interpretation and publication of theater OPSTASKLINKS.
  • Provide consulting services with supported theater JICCs to deconflict and optimize ISR assets or other unit assigned JUs and track blocks both regionally and worldwide.
  • Design, implement, and optimize deployment of C2 data link devices, BLOS/LOS radios/antennas, RF data link antennas, SATCOM systems/connectivity, deployable C2 kits, CoT systems, and serial data link connections IAW all applicable MILSTD, AFI, and local TTP direction.
  • Oversee development of TTPs as well as other governing documents, regarding deployment, troubleshooting, and operations regarding C2 devices and software
  • Provide primary onsite and virtual training support to 625 OC, 25 AF, and 25 AF subordinate units on: data link/C2 device operators; the design, implementation, and optimization of C2 hardware and software; ISR datalink architecture; and ISR systems, correlation tools, and operational implementation of TTPs.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years’ experience in data link operations within an ISR environment and Multi-TDL operations
  • Operational experience as JICO, JICC Watch Officer for major exercise or theater deployment
  • JICO or Joint Data Network Officer or Advanced JICC Operator Course, or certification issued by Joint Interoperability Division
  • Skillset: C2 data link device expertise, BLOS/LOS radios/antennas, RF link data antennas, and SATCOM systems connectivity
  • TS/SCI Clearance
  • Shift work required
