GDIT is seeking an Engineering Team Manager and Lead Solutions Architect to be responsible for multiple teams engaged in the technical design and engineering functions; direct the technical organization to ensure progress according to technical objectives within budgetary and schedule guidelines; oversee the design of both new and existing IT modernization, expansion, and improvement projects; analyze, evaluate, and plan methods of approach; and organize the means to achieve solutions to highly complex technical problems. Additional responsibilities include: supporting capture and proposal efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business by developing technical solutions for capture strategy and proposal responses

Will be responsible to develop and maintain high-level design plan for overall logical and technical IT architecture. Provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, from strategic decision making down to the project planning level.  Gain organizational commitment for high-level infrastructure plans and initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and methods for implementation.


  • DoD 8570 certification, IAT Level II.

  • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

  • Bachelors or higher level degree in relevant IT/Technical field or equivalent combination of education/experience and training.

  • Should possess minimum of six years of experience with enterprise engineering and/or IT solution design

  • Possess a current Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification (or one of the following certs - VMWare Certified Professional certification OR Cisco Certified Design Expert certification)
