At GDIT, our employees are driven, resourceful, and unwavering. Our work depends on a Java Developer supporting Technical Support Services (TSS) for the United States Postal Service (USPS) activities located in Wilkes Barre, PA or remote.
Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs
Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time
Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures
Assist team with the preparation of cost estimates
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred but not required
A minimum of five (5) years of experience with REST services, JAVA, PL/SQL, and KAFKA
Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
Desired experience with Struts, CSS, Html, Unix, Jenkins/EBS

The likely salary range for this position is $75,599 - $126,250, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
