As an IT Quality Assurance Analyst supporting the Healthcare Fraud Prevention Partnership Trusted Third Party, you will be trusted to work remotely with a dynamic, driven, and dedicated team including cloud engineers, web application developers, security teams, and members from other quality management teams. We are moving toward a CI/CD model where we will be able to deploy code on demand. You will play a pivotal role in helping ensure the quality of deployed software and applications.
On a typical day, with minimal supervision, you will:
Design both ad hock and requirements-based tests to identify potential problems and ensure quality
Develop and execute vulnerability, manual, regression, or performance tests using flexible testing procedures
Troubleshoot any testing errors and streamline testing procedures
Work on and with other scrum team members to determine testing parameters, document testing related items according to standards and patterns such as 508 compliance/accessibility, CMMI and ADF possibly using XRay, Jira, Confluence, eazyBI, or SharePoint
Work with cross-functional teams and provide clarification or necessary guidance around defects or tests on the open-source implementation, development, integration, and maintenance of cloud and web-based solutions.
The QA Analyst is expected to have a full understanding of the SDLC and a general understanding of development, configuration, migration, integration, and maintenance of various API’s, websites, platforms, and services.
Ensures that testing methodology and procedures meet company and industry standards
Learn and execute automated tests
Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology and best practices relevant to the industry
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Computer-related degree or equivalent
2+ years of experience in software testing
Understanding and knowledge of database development with SQL
Formal QA training
Extensive knowledge in front end functional testing
Extensive knowledge in regression testing
Demonstrated automation and manual testing skills
Demonstrated ability to manage test assets (test plans, test cases, test steps and test scripts) and defects
Experience defining test strategy in collaboration with Business Analyst, System Analyst and Product Owner
Experience with BI testing
Proficiency in using GIT or other repositories
Performance and security testing experience using automation tools
Exposure to automation testing using Selenium
Exposure to performance testing using Eggplant or Jmeter
Available for on-call testing requests
Communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
Highly driven and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Comfortable in a fast-moving and frequently changing environment
Ability to multitask and adapt
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Must be able to obtain a Public Trust
Medical services industry experience
Experience with Selenium, Eggplan, Jmeter, or other open source frameworks/tools
The likely salary range for this position is $57,600 - $86,400, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
