Our work depends on a Principal Network Integrator / Programmer to help support our Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management - Next-Gen (JSP ETM - NG) program at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.
Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.
Job Description:
5+ years’ experience with: Radius for 802.1x, TACACS and RSA.
Configure network tools to provide up‐to‐date configurations of network devices and applications.
5+ years of programming applications in a Linux or Ansible environment.
Understanding of Networking and device management through SNMP.
Strong team player and able to push through objectives.
Moderate understanding of routing / switching.
IP Subnet and subnetting.
Strong understanding Regular Expressions (RegEx).
Team player
Utilize Remedy (ITSM) / Service Now (SNOW) for task management.
Troubleshoot and initiate tasks without direct supervision.
Required Qualifications:
Active Top‐Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
Current Security+ CE certification (or equivalent certification).
At least ONE nationally recognized certification for network administrator/engineering.
3+ years’ experience working in a DoD environment.
5+ years’ experience with: Radius for 802.1x, TACACS and RSA.
Configure network tools to provide up‐to‐date configurations of applications and network devices.
Experience with Ansible Automations Platform (AAP).
Programming and scripting with products like:
Perl / Python
KSH, Bash, SH
Troubleshoot devices not responding to management tools.
Use of current and emergent network design principles and protocols.
Experience with network virtualization technologies (software defined network).
Experience with multi‐tenant applications.
Able to report onsite as indicated above
Desired Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience with LDAP.
Programming and scripting with products like:
JSON
Powershell
Ansible
Able to integrate and troubleshoot software applications and hardware platforms (as an individual with limited supervision)
Experience with Network monitoring SNMP Polling, SNMP Traps, Syslog (server, application, and transport)
