Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and orchestrate all engineering and technical resources to deliver the technologies into production required by a given mission value stream / thread. Build and maintain the cross-functional teams required to develop and deliver a product into production. Oversee resolution of resource conflicts and facilitate the prioritization of resources within and between sprints. Collaborate with functional leaders to advance professional development of individual practitioners. Manage technical staff and technical resources to priority needs. Lead professional development and work culture for high performing teams.

  • Support the continued enhancement of systems, software, and tools that are in a hybrid lifecycle phase DevOps. These enhancements are coordinated with customer users through the appropriate governance forum to gather and prioritize their needs.
  • Advocate and ensure customer functional requirements are incorporated into enhancements to baseline systems, software, and services that include the following:
  • Perform analysis and recommend enhancements to extend the life or improve reliability of the equipment when critical equipment is no longer supportable by repair or replacement.
  • Assess and recommend capability enhancements in response to National Security events that are unplanned and unknown in advance, as well as rapid adjustments/enhancements to address the changing mission requirements.
  • Identify and implement products and techniques to automate the capability delivery process to operations, as well as automating the feedback loops from mission operations and obtaining timely feedback from mission operations during the development process.
  • Maintain bi-directional traceability by establishing and maintaining the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM), mapping the enterprise requirements baseline to the system/functional baseline, and ultimately mapping it to the build baseline through system verification activities.
  • Document and manage user stories to support development priorities when using the Agile development model.
  • Create and update individual product backlogs resulting from an Agile development approach.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 5 years of relevant experience

Desirable Skill / Certification:

  • Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps methods in support of continuous development, continuous integration environments.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL Service Design process and procedures.
  • Experience working in the Agile Software Development and Testing framework.
  • Experience in AWS, Azure or other Cloud Service provider

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI required
  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph
