Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.

Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.

Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

Performs a range of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.

Prepares and presents a range of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.

Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

Target Education: High School Diploma or Trade/Industrial School Diploma (or GED Equivalent) and/or related military experience

Target Experience: Seven (7) years of professional experience as an Engineering Technician. Five (5) years of professional experience tracing signals and diagnosing or isolating cause for electrical failures. Five (5) years of professional experience reading, understanding, and interpreting electrical schematics. Five(5) years of professional experience generating write ups that detail testing performed, troubleshooting steps, and findings. Five (5) years of professional experience using a digital multi-meter to conduct troubleshooting hardware systems. Two (2) years of professional experience within industry acting as a lead engineering technician. Two (2) years of professional experience manipulating computer peripheral settings for use in desired applications. Two (2) years of experience using a digital multi-meter to conduct troubleshooting hardware systems. Two (2) years of professional experience within industry acting as a lead professional experience with personal computer file and directory structures. One (1) year of professional experience troubleshooting VME and/or PLC based systems for the U.S. Navy. Experience on LCS ships desired.

Must possess or have the ability to obtain Secret clearance
