At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Mission Software Developer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to design and develop mission applications and lead small team projects as well as develop applications with carrying degrees of scale, risk, and complexity. In this role, a typical day will include:
Develop consults with clients to develop user requirements,
Ensuring interoperability with other applications,
Generate comprehensive test plans to ensure that adequate unit, system, and integration testing is preformed, and
Provides extensive technical advice and guidance to applications developers and other members of the team.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 15 years related experience.
Technical Skills: Experience working with legacy application conversion, Object orientated analysis and design, and experience with GibHub.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ruby on Rails, and deploying applications to a cloud infrastructure using Amazon Web Services
