As an Administrative Assistant II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Facilitate the Onboarding and Off boarding process of incoming and departing employees
Manage the department's inbox, to include preparing and formatting any official correspondence following the appropriate routing
Maintain a schedule of appointments/meetings on the Department's internal calendar and coordinate the timing of scheduled meetings within the Department, using the Calendar available in Outlook
The AA will interact with all levels of the Department and also have some communication with other departments within the assigned Sponsor Mission Center
The AA will also have regular communication with Access Request administrators and will coordinate access requests with defined approvers
The Department.has its own, government-issued SUV for any travel to other buildings for meetings. In the event this SUV is not available, all travel performed by POV for meetings outside of this work location will be repaid though approved travel vouchers
This position may also require some light lifting of boxes.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
While the Department is extremely flexible with work schedules, it would like its administrative assistant (AA) to be available from at least 10 AM to 2 PM, and complete 40 hours of work each week
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
The position is on customer site
