Exciting opportunity to standup, maintain, grow a robust and capable network for a simulation training product development organization.

Position provides technical solutions in the development and implementation and management of software, hardware, configurations, and architectures, including network control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters and servers.

Position will continually evaluates the resulting network system to ensure network capacity meets current and future network requirements. Candidate should be familiar with analyzing requirements to determine optimal network solutions.

Position will become an maintenance position once the network is implemented and will require Monitoring network performance and troubleshoots and resolves complex problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network. Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has some authority to deviate from standard operating procedures.

Creates, maintains and deletes user accounts.

Plans, installs and maintains network systems for multiple classifications.

Provides installation, maintenance and repair of network hardware and software.

Develops and/modifies process and technical documentation. Creates back-up procedures, test plans, and related reports.

Plans and diagrams the physical layout and location of devices and the connection between devices participating on the network.

Evaluates and recommends networking product and software upgrades.

Position has growth potential to integrate into the existing training product development team to engineering new network implementations for simulator devices for external customer. Travel is a portential.

Work is on site in Orlando Florida

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience
