At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Administrative Assistant III a typical day will include:
Admin will work in coordination and support of Recruiter counterparts to ensure travel arrangements, staging and recruitment materials and preparations are completed in a timely manner. Will not support the act of recruiting in any capacity during any events
AA will interact with senior to junior level personnel. Manage SharePoint for sponsoring office for branch changes (content for check-in/check-out). Backup Support to branch supply ordering account
Assist with branch event planning -recruitment events up to 200 a year. AA will assist the Event Management System Program Manager (EMS PM) The EMS PM leads, coordinates and delegates responses across branch divisions and mission partners for timely and final response to domestic offices outside the WMA
AA will serve as backup front desk coverage for the other office AA. Provides travel preparation for regional recruiter/outreach team
Serve as backup Timekeeper for T&A. Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality . Resource would be expected to travel to local sites in support of in-person/virtual event setup.
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Work Schedule would be Monday through Friday, 7am-3:00pm, some days may require 5:00pm departure for later event setup. Flex schedule is a possibility of four 10 hour days on non-timecard weeks
The AA must possess strong skills in critical thinking, excellent oral and written, strong customer service, and be able to work across the Sponsor and with Partners
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Able to perform duties with minimal supervision and some team interaction
