Technical Architect

Our work depends on a Technical Architect joining our team to support Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) activities at Washington, DC or remotely.

At GDIT, we foster a people-centric environment. As a Technical Architect supporting the EPA, you will be trusted to work on ServiceNow, Office 365 and Citrix/VDI platforms and develop recommendations for improving the user experience and cost effectiveness, while modernizing delivery methods and technologies. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating with the EPA to provide technical engineering services across their enterprise for agency-wide end-user computing platforms for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, device configurations, technical refreshes and customer data migrations for hardware and software
  • Evaluate and engineer IT architecture, infrastructure, and technology portfolios. Develop, technology standards and security policy.
  • Architect and engineer security to include OS patching, end user device encryption, configuration management, remote device management, VDI management, and reporting.
  • Architect and engineer security, support, and automated software deployment
  • Additional duties as assigned.


  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience providing end user support services, preferably for a federal agency.
  • 5 or more years in an Architect or Sr. Engineering level position
  • Able to obtain Public Trust.
