GDIT is excited to support the SEC in as it seeks to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation. The SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC's IT infrastructure. Our dynamic program team of IT leaders and large and small business partners is seeking bright, energetic and talented individuals to join us as we bring our innovative IT Service Delivery solutions to SEC.
GDIT has an immediate opportunity for an Enterprise Management Systems Tools Specialist to support our SEC customer in Washington, DC. Candidates must be US Citizens (without dual citizenship) and eligible to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. This person should be an Expert in Application Performance Management & Systems Performance Management. This person will have experience: deploying APM and SPM, in automation, facilitating Requirements Gathering meetings. We are looking for someone who wants to work with stakeholders and grow the overall implementation footprint.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Evaluate SEC’s APM & SPM Needs
Assess current APM & SPM Tools
Perform GAP Analysis
Facilitate Requirements meetings
May Deploy new APM and SPM Tools
Troubleshoot APM, SPM, and other monitoring tools
Assist with upgrades of APM, SPM and other monitoring Tools
Assist with Instrumentation, Testing and Validation
Provide knowledge transfer and best practice process for ongoing APM management, feature and functionality of upgraded APM solution and on APM Cluster management and APM checkpoint activities and alike
Develop and present reports
Work Service Now Tickets (Incidents and Requests)
To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years related experience in successful efforts involving any combination of application performance management (APM), systems performance management (SPM), and network performance management (NPM) design and implementation, systems analysis and design, system feasibility studies, systems integration, data conversion and implementation support, database planning and design, programming, and network services.
Must have a good understanding of monitoring architecture, topologies, Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) best practices, and Application/Infrastructure monitoring best practices
Must have prior experience driving a Monitoring Solution like APM or SPM
Must have prior experience deploying Application Performance Management
It would be great if you also had:
Direct experience with CA APM 10.X as a major plus
Familiar with ITIL
Familiar with FCAPS
5 + years of related experience
