The Navy's Enterprise Authoritative Data Environment (eADE) system will apply an authoritative data sharing framework that supports data analytics and business intelligence functions to the Navy’s HR systems. We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator with DEVSECOPS experience to join our program.
As a DevSecOps Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible to find ways to deploy a set of software development practices that combines software development (Dev), security (Sec), and information technology operations (Ops) to secure the outcome and shorten the development lifecycle. Duties include:
Assist in the development and implementation of the DevSecOps Strategy to include the definition and goals of the over-arching framework and methodologies
Implement CI/CD pipeline utilizing DevSecOps principles and practices to increase automation and reduce human involvement in the process
Integrate DevSecOps tools and services (a code repository, an artifact repository, source code analyzer, security scanning, testing tools and an orchestrated integration and delivery platform) to enable automated application building, testing, securing and deployment
Develop scalable test frameworks, analyze complex system architecture, and recommend solutions for improving system testability
Automate application deployment into varied and complex environments using virtual machines, container technology, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and bare metal servers
Architect testable, maintainable Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
Facilitate a smooth delivery of a robust and stable product by teaming with customers and vendors
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to the OS, hardware, network, and related software
Experience managing VPC, URL proxies, and C2S access points
4+ years of related experience with DevSecOps tools such as:
Operating system or database system certification
Security+ (or other IAT II)
Secret clearance; must obtain Top Secret
The likely salary range for this position is $136,802 - $228,446, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
