Manages a team that provides Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics support to multiple Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Program Managers and Assistant Program Managers for Logistics (APMLs).  Program Offices include P-3, P-8, F/A-18, V-22, SH-60 and Air to Air Missiles.  

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinates with FMS Country Representatives and Foreign Partners for weapons systems acquisition and sustainment.

2. Recommends resources required for task order execution and completion;

4. Analyzes the acquisition and sustainment of high-value; sensitive; explosive; and/or classified assets;

5. Attends meetings with and for FMS customers providing briefing when requested;

6. Assists with new Case development as well as Case reconciliation and closure;

7. Evaluates Foreign Partner capabilities as they pertain to all the logistics elements and provides recommendations;

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned task(s), including contract and subcontractor management.

Supervises assigned staff.

Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting.

May also perform high level technical services on assigned task(s).

Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

Coordinates risk tracking process.

Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison.

Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders.

Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Participates in special projects as required.

SCOPE: Supervises a small team focused on one or a few areas. Low complexity.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of related work experience
