As a Specialized Customer Support Assistant II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The candidate will, once trained, be expected to independently manage the classes that they are assigned to support. They will have access to student Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and therefore will need to maintain discretion at all times. They will need to be comfortable in a dynamic environment
Classes at this center range in duration from one week to 10 weeks with two week breaks between classes. Breaks between classes are generally when we advise staff and instructors to take any necessary leave so that they can be available during class time for students
Because much of our training is done outside of the schoolhouse, in the afternoons when students and instructors depart the schoolhouse it gives support staff the opportunity if they have the initiative to work to get ahead and plan for busier days
While the candidate assigned to this position will be part of the course support team, it should be understood that each person is assigned their own classes. That said, everyone at the center pitches in when necessary o ensure success and therefore if someone else on the team is going to be out it will be necessary to be trained to back up the other team members
Personnel assigned to this position should be well versed in both written and verbal communication; they will be responsible for communicating with the training and officers for all mission centers and components during program calls for courses and for answering routine questions regarding the classes which they support
Additionally, they will be responsible for providing the kick out administrative briefing and close out administrative briefing days for their classes at the office
The candidate will help with briefing techniques, we have officers who are available for "train the trainer" sessions and feedback prior to first time briefings
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
Core hours of the offices are from 8:00am thru 2:00pm and is open as early as 6:00am
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
The position is on customer site
