The Network Management (NETMAN) Subject Matter Expert (SME) provides services in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will provide engineering and capability management support for the NETMAN which consist of core toolsets that identify device failures, perform failure root cause analysis, monitor network performance, identify important trends, deep packet analysis, network analytics and situational awareness data providing an automated solution for analysts to quickly correlate data across multiple sensors located globally, and provides alerts when network behavior deviates from normal patterns as well as bandwidth utilization. We are looking to hire full-time a NETMAN SME to support our IT services contract located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to the ADCNOMS project.
Experience in Network Management (such as CA Spectrum® CA Spectrum, CA PM, NFA, CABI, and DXOI)
Knowledge of CMDB/SS
Working Knowledge of Jumpstart (bare metal recovery) VM (Virtual Machine)
Experience in NETMAN Network and Application Performance Monitoring (NAPM) (consisting of, but not limited to, NetScout nGeniusONE, Infinistream, Packet Flow Switch, Flow Collector, nGenius for Flows, Packet Flow Switch Manager, vStream, and OptiView.)
Extensive technical expertise in cross platform Windows and Red Hat Linux stand-alone server and virtual server environmental expertise in integrating with Active Directory (AD), and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Windows and Linux Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and hardening using DISA’s Benchmark
Red Hat 6.x
VMWare (Virtualization) (minimum 5.x)
Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
BA/BS or equivalent experience
DoD 8570.1-M certification: IAT Level III Certification
Computing Environment Certification
8 – 10 years of experience in information technology field
