Job Description Summary:

  • Develops data visualization resources and strategy to strategically increase enterprise view of data within customer’s specific context
  • Engineers solutions for presenting hierarchical views of systems status and usage, and providing single-pane-of-glass enterprise views for a decision advantage
  • Creates visual displays for collection system usage statistics from algorithm output, etca. (e.g., dashboards and automated system reports)
  • Collaborates with domain experts to ensure data interpretability
  • Measures individual and aggregate end user desktop experience including login times, use of common web sites, and use of common core desktop applications
  • Reviews and analyzes collected data to determine the performance and health of a system or network; assists in developing, implementing, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators
  • Identifies new patterns and areas requiring attention or improvement
  • Maps and performs data transformation (database development, large-scale file manipulation, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and documentation preparation)
  • Performs data analysis interpretation and data management duties
  • Performs requirement analysis functions

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
  • 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification (Security+ or other)
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to change, forward-thinking
  • Education/Experience Requirement:
  • Bachelor of Science + 5 years of relevant experience
  • Master of Science + 3 years of relevant experience
  • PhD + 1 year of relevant experience

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with existing and emerging data mining technology
  • Experience data mining within trouble ticket and event monitoring systems
  • Ability to develop data analytics and visualization solutions using Tableau, Python, R, etc.

Desired skills:

  • Familiarity with ticketing system(s)
  • Familiarity with event monitoring system(s)

The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
