Job Description

Will be appointed as the contractor Enterprise ADCS Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and will be responsible for ensuring all ISSM DoD AF and AFNORTH CS governance tasks are met and implemented at Alaska AOC/ADS EADS ADS, Tyndall AOC, WADS ADS, and PMO. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible as the AFNORTH ISSM to create, coordinate, review, and re-validate required CS policies and procedures.
  • Create, review, coordinate, and document accreditation/re-accreditation tasks.
  • Prepare/update DIACAP/RMF accreditation documentation and submit to the AFNORTH PM for review, coordination and approval
  • Conduct and document research and analysis on existing at CONR AOC, EADS ADS, WADS ADS, and ANR ADS systems for CS matters and submit to the ADCS PMOM for review and approval.
  • Provide augmentation support to RFQ/Task Order CS processes and procedures
  • Submit/maintain accreditation documentation in the SIPR Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) or any system/method required by the ADCS Authorization Official (AO)
  • Make risks assessment recommendations on project CS configuration changes as well as integration and implementation timelines/milestones for review and approval.
  • Participate in Configuration Control Board/Configuration Management activities as required by the ADCS CM plan to ensure CS requirements are identified.
  • Develop Enterprise system security controls and transition existing DIACAP accredited systems utilizing the new RMF per DoD, Air Force, AO guidance
  • Create, coordinate, review, re-validate and assess the level of effort to implement required CS policies and procedures based upon the security controls identified within the System Security Plan.
  • Create, review, coordinate, and document accreditation/re-accreditation tasks for systems/mission threads as they are identified.
  • Transition existing DIACAP accredited systems utilizing RMF per DoD, Air Force, and AO guidance
  • Create a Vulnerability Management Plan (Patch, TCNO tracking, etc.) as required by ADCS CS policies
  • Create a solution to meet the security controls to perform system/data auditing as required by the ADCS CS policies
  • Create a solution based upon the security controls to perform monitoring and the resources required to implement an incident response plan as required by ADCS CS policies
  • Develop, track, manage, report of theater Plan Of Action and Milestone (POA&M) documents as required by ADCS CS policies
  • Perform site surveys and SAVs to support accreditation and CS efforts and validate the correct implementation of the completed IT system with the security requirements and approach as agreed on by the users, acquisition authority, and the Authorizing Official (AO)
  • Attend meetings and consulting as needed
  • Direct contractor resources as needed

BA/BS - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Cyber or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.

  1. 8+ years experience. 

  2. Required to possess and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

  3. DOD 8570 Certification Level IAT 3 or IAM level 2 within 6 months of hire.
  4. Desired supervisory skills.
  5. Preferred experience in Air Defense Remote/Radar Remote Site Communications Systems
  6. Requires advanced knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques.
  7. Requires familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
  8. Requires knowledge in the use of a variety of Security Event generating sources (e.g. Firewalls, IDS, Routers, Security Appliances, HBSS, ACAS)
  9. Host Base Security System (HBSS) Certificate/ACAS completion certificate preferred
