Manage the US CIAV Information/Knowledge Management Plan.
Promote organization-wide knowledge sharing, to ensure US CIAV’s information and experience are shared internally to support operations and externally with CIAV partners and stakeholders.
Promote collaborative tools, such as activity rooms to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners and stakeholders.
Provide support for the establishment and nurturing of communities of practice, including workshops, one-on-one guidance, and troubleshooting.
Assist in monitoring and evaluating the knowledge sharing program, including external benchmarking and evaluation programs/opportunities.
Assist in disseminating information about the organizations knowledge sharing program to internal and external audiences, including organizing knowledge sharing events (such as site visits and interviews), maintaining communications on knowledge sharing across the organization, participation in orientation and training sessions, and preparation of brochures/presentations.
Manage electronic and manual publications and forms through development, design, control, storage, and dissemination.
Provide guidance to ensure publications and forms meet prescribed style, format, and legal and statutory requirements.
Establish and maintain records management.
Create manual and automated file plans.
Apply file cutoff procedures and disposition/retrieval of records.
Comply with Privacy Act and Freedom of Information Act procedures and provide assistance to ensure others comply.
Provide records management training.
Coordinate and document information systems repairs.
Provide customer service to assist in operation, restoration, and configuration of information systems.
Develop and implement information sharing web sites and pages; assist others in content management of web sites and pages.
Monitor and manage information system security programs.
Program Support General Duties:
Maintain the CIAV action item list and assist in tracking and posting scheduled travel to the CIAV portal page.
Responsible for assisting, maintaining, and tracking progress of items on the US CIAV National Lead’s Action Items list.
Assist with securing conference locations and teleconference capability to support the numerous CIAV meeting in Suffolk and other sites.
Identify and recommend emergent relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes.
Proactively support the US CIAV National Lead, Deputy National Lead and the program support team in a variety of meetings, workshops and working groups.
Build presentations and write documents to convey the National Lead’s strategic communications objectives and support routine US CIAV correspondence.
Organize material to ensure the National Lead and others have easy access to the information required to participate in a variety of meetings.
Participate in special projects as required.
Required Education: Bachelors degree in an associated discipline or the equivalent from an accredited college/university; or a minimum of fifteen (15) years specific and related responsible command and staff experience in the U.S. Military inclusive of the following (may be gained concurrently across several positions).
5-10 years of directly related computer systems and writing experience.
Demonstrated experience with military Service and/or Joint C2, to include JTF, CCMD, and component level knowledge.
Demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports and other routine documents for submission.
Demonstrated experience in managing information and data on a variety of portals and information repositories (SharePoint, IntelDocs, etc.).
Proficient in a variety of MS Office programs (including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, Visio, Power Point, etc.).
Knowledge of relevant technology and equipment.
TS/SCI Clearance required.
