Come join the GDIT team working with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) seeking a strong Project/Task Manager for our DCMA portfolio and in direct support of the 360 Collaboration program to work remotely with our Norther Virginia based team.

Job Description Section:

Project/Task Manager/SharePoint Analyst

The Project/Task Manager/SharePoint Analyst is a working Project Manager responsible for managing the DCMA project support portfolio and providing Tier II and Tier III customer support and troubleshooting for SharePoint configuration, user support, and out-of-the-box development. The SharePoint Analyst will also possess skills and knowledge of a limited number of 3rd party tools as well as have the ability to create and customize content, build and customize workflows, and provide technical input.  This is a full time position.  Candidates will be required to work 9am to 5pm, Eastern Time, Monday – Friday, excluding government holidays.

The candidate must able to:

Project Management Support to the DCMA 360 Program:

  • Prepare and present Daily Ticket Reporting
  • Prepare and present Weekly Activities Reporting
  • Conduct meetings with Prime Project Manager to ensure cohesion between teams and goals
  • Perform management of all GDIT members of the 360 Team (including, but not limited to, timesheet approvals, management of leave for team, HR concerns, etc.)
  • Advise, discuss, and evaluate all solutions, migrations, issues, concerns, risks, etc.  with government PgM, as needed/requested
  • Responsible for all activities management within the 360 GDIT Team
  • Attend and manage, as needed, the weekly internal GDIT DCMA Team meeting.

DCMA Portfolio Management:

  • Prepare and report on Monthly Program Heatmap assessments and Program Management Reviews
  • Manage DCMA portfolio internal planning
  • Participate and support DCMA/Business Area growth initiatives
  • Provide leadership briefing and reporting in compliance with corporate, Division, Sector and Business Area

SharePoint Support

  • Organize and analyze incoming requests for information, in all forms (i.e., tickets, emails, phone calls), and develop informed solutions back to the team, customer, and client.
  • Perform SharePoint troubleshooting, integration, testing, and solution deployment.
  • Use excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a focus on interpreting and clarifying user requirements and subsequently developing a subset of these requirements.  
  • Work collaboratively with client and with varying degrees of autonomy, troubleshooting Tier 2 and Tier 3 tickets in SharePoint and all the 3rd party tools.
  • Analyze, understand and resolve complex SharePoint related issues at a very high level and pursue the most relevant course of action.
  • Work in a fast paced and challenging environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to research, identify, recommend third party solutions, plug-ins and custom web parts to satisfy user requirements.
  • Satisfying customer requirements by creating features solutions, within the the SharePoint OOTB capabilities.
  • Working Tier 2 and Tier 3 issues to completion, including full solutions and issue close out procedures.
  • Be able to apply hands-on experience when troubleshooting or creating customized solutions in SharePoint 2016.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of how to set up and maintain SharePoint sites and site collections.
  • Documenting all necessary procedures, updates, training, and closeout procedures as mandated by the client.
  • Use knowledge and prior use of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JQuery to create and update SharePoint solutions.
  • Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of IT experience.
  • Demonstrated skill in SharePoint Analysis/Development.
  • Demonstrated skill in IT Customer Service/Help Desk Support
  • Highly Desired: Experience in providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 support from assignment to close-out.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in an IT or Computer Science related field.
  • Must have current Security+ Certificate (or able to obtain one within 14 days of hire).
  • Active DoD Public Trust Clearance or higher
  • SharePoint OOTB capabilities.
