GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) Information Operation 1st Information Operations Command (IO CMD), 1st Battalion, 2nd Battalion, Army IO Center and the Brigade S3 who live the Army values and have experience in Military Intelligence.
GDIT support to the INSCOM 1st IO CMD includes delivering Intelligence and IO planning capabilities and identifying, analyzing and assessing specified threats within the information environment in order to develop comprehensive IO products for supported commands.
GDIT support will be provided to the various functional areas within the INSCOM 1st IO CMD to include: Intelligence Analytical support to IO, System Administration, Network Administration, and Information Assurance.
Performs basic systems development and design work that may include logic design, I/O design, firmware development, model formulation, computer architecture analysis and design, and analog or digital systems engineering.
Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Participates in the upgrading of operating systems.
Provides input for documentation on new or existing systems.
Performs testing to ensure systems meet documented user requirements.
Provides technical support, diagnoses and resolves operating/hardware system problems.
Provides assistance to higher-level systems engineers.
Participates in special projects as required.
System Administrator, Senior - Requirements
5 years minimum practical experience on Military Intelligence (MI) systems system administration.
Manage software licenses.
Troubleshoot and remediate software applications.
Install and software applications.
Monitor and report software application performance metrics.
Develop, implement, and update backup and recovery procedures.
Maintain STIG compliance as required.
Operate and maintain vSphere application.
Manage the Active Directory AD Domain with windows systems and servers and Linux systems.
Coordinate lifecycle equipment replacement.
Forecast hardware and software requirements.
Conduct CD/DVD handling procedures.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, and work experience.
Four additional years of applicable experience may be substituted for the degree.
Desired Experience includes; Military Experience and Completion of U.S. Military Service NCO or Senior NCO Academy Course or Officer Basic or Advanced Course is desirable.
Clearance required: TS.SCI
DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification is required

CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
Minimum Computing Environment (CE) Certification:
Industry accepted certification required at time of hire
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or
Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA), or
