As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The Administrative Assistant (AA) in this office will be the interface between customers and department officers. The AA should have a can-do attitude and positive demeanor
This is a customer facing position requiring a high level of professionalism as the AA will interact with the center's workforce, partners, and liaisons, and will be seated at the entrance to the office suite
The AA will report to the chief and deputy chief and be part of a team of administrative support personnel center wide
The AA will interface with numerous visitors from a wide variety of offices. While the AA will be responsible for the department's taskings, they will also be part of a dynamic administrative support team providing Center-wide assistance when/where required
The AA should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as be team oriented
This position is for 1.0 FTE/1860.0 Hours annually
Travel, if any, would be local to WMV and the occasional domestic off-sites
The AA will provide backup to other departments, components and the Front Office as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The work schedule is a standard schedule with core hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm (M-F). The AA may arrive no earlier than 7:30 am and depart no later than 5:30pm unless specific events require a later departure
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
This position is on customer site
