The Business Operation Analyst will directly support the Department of the Navy for Civilian Human Resources, located at the Washington Navy Yard. The candidate will support Executive Management Program Office (EMPO) developing Command Program Briefs in support of senior executive management, reform, timeliness, to include depiction of trends, analytics, as directed by the PDASN (M&RA) and the Director, EMPO.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the identification and recommendation of opportunities for improvement in the processes for work.
  • Analyze data and identify trends in the full scope of deliver of executive management services.
  • Assist with the development of goals and tolerances, and develops, sets, and monitors metrics to measure productivity and efficiency.
  • Respond to general taskings, answers internal and external inquiries, under the supervision and direction of the supervisor.
  • Gather, interpret, and analyze large amounts of statistical information about workload, productivity, and process flows.
  • Work with other analysts with in HRLink and other systems to provide timely analysis and trends.
  • Prepare and present briefings to various levels of management to effectively communicate proposals, data analysis, and recommendations.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • BA/BS degree
  • Four years experience. Master’s Degree may be substituted for two (2) years of experience.
  • Strong writing and editing skills Microsoft Office Suite

This position requires being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by December 8, 2021 or the start date, if after December 8.
