This Administrative Assistant will be required to greet all visitors to the office. The AA will provide professional administrative support for the Chief, (3) Deputy Chiefs, (3)Associate Deputy Chiefs, C/Support, (2) Group Chiefs & a Deputy Chief and office of more than 150 staff and contractors. The AA is expected to provide support ot SIS-Level officers as well as interns. The role of the AA is not simply transactional and there are complexities to support the department. The AA will use several sponsor tools to process multiple requests daily and asked to be diligent in their efforts as to avoid mistakes that will cause delays or lack of service to the customer. The AA will be responsible for providing calendar management and general support to the office as needed -requires the AA to manage/prioritize the calendars/appointments. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings, conference rooms, and VTC. The AA must be able to work as part of the support team to provide complete end-to-end support services to the officers within the department and provide back-up to other members of the support platform. The AA will have the support of another AA and the two serve as back-ups to one another and constantly collaborate on requests on a daily basis. The contractor will arrive no earlier than 7:30 am and depart no earlier than 4:00 pm. This position works a standard schedule -no flex schedule. There is no travel with this position.
