The GDIT Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization is seeking a Business Process Analyst.   GDIT SCM acquires goods and services on behalf of the company, develops supply chain strategy, builds strategic supplier relationships, manages supplier risk, and influences the downstream lifecycle.  SCM Systems provides foundational support across the organization overseeing administration of the tools and systems supporting acquisition activities.


The successful candidate will join a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and should be able to support multiple responsibilities simultaneously. our work depends on a Business Process Analyst joining our team to support the SCM Strategy, Technology and Operations department’s Systems & Governance business unit activities.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Business Process Analyst supporting the SCM ST&O S&G team, you will be trusted to perform S&G day-to-day operations activities and contribute to SCM special projects and initiatives. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Requirements gathering, design, development, testing, training, and delivery of SCM tools/applications
  • Compiling regular reports and metrics for the SCM organization and coordinating with the Data Analytics team to evaluate and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Establishing and delivering data integrity tools/solutions
  • Implementing and documenting data integration or migration strategies
  • Working closely with corporate technical and development teams to document systems and applications, or process, data flows and tracking changes
  • Researching, identifying, and testing technology products required for the storage, security, and automation of data and information
  • Gathering vital meeting information and generating reports and metrics for stakeholders
  • General helpdesk supporting acquisition systems, reporting, applications/tools, and new projects
  • Systems/Applications/Tools/Data security; governance, risk management, and administration
  • Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service
  • Other duties and special projects as may be required
  • Understanding of supply chain / acquisition-related data and information
  • Experience with SharePoint Development and Tableau
  • Experience with Oracle, OBIEE Reporting, Cognos Reporting, Appian, and Salesforce
  • Data extraction and migration experience
  • AI/Machine-Learning experience
  • Excellent organization, problem-solving skills, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work swiftly under pressure and to deadlines 
  • Strong collaboration, team-working skills
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with technology development

Required capabilities include:

  • Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Problem-identification and solution development skills
  • Reporting and Data Analytics experience
  • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint experience
  • Superior customer service-related skills
  • Ability to meet timelines and schedule milestones

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent + 3 years related experience, or MA + 1 years related experience
