HOW BEING A SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR MAKE AN IMPACT?

The Sponsor requires technical support with expertise in the systems used to collect, process, and exploit data used by the Sponsor, and the Sponsor’s Community, to support systems and advance the way those systems are tasked and used to identify targeting leads and perform operations. 

The Sponsor developed and manages the program which leverages disparate technologies to support massive data processing, storage, modeling and analytics over several thousand unique data sources, to perform threat identification and analysis, as well as support efforts to meet tactical and strategic mission goals for the Sponsor’s Agency and Sponsor Community. Under the Sponsor’s Program, are the components that comprise the ‘core’ data collection capability – the technologies and systems, data, data processing and modeling, and use of the data via innovative and recurring querying of the data corpus and model(s) to derive intelligence to advance the Sponsor’s mission. The ‘core’ data collection capability serves as the backbone for capabilities (e.g. web applications) managed by the Sponsor, to accelerate its targeting and operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Required Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience translating user requirements into technical design and implemented code in extremely short timeframes.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Unix, Linux and Windows physical and virtual environments.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience aggregating results and compiling information for reporting.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience with simulation and modeling to inform strategic evolution of technology platforms.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience with multiple object oriented languages such as Java, C, Visual, .Net, PHP, RetrievalWare, and Basic.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience with multiple scripting languages such as Perl, BASH, Python, PL/SQL, and R.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience with database design and programming on multiple platforms including Oracle, and MySQL.
  • Demonstrated experience using database structure, indices, and normal forms, to improve performance.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience exploiting and manipulating XML using Java, XPath, XQuery, or XSLT.

  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • Preferred Skills:
  • Degree or equivalent in CS, MIS, Economics, Physics, Genetics, or Engineering related field, especially Supercomputing-related.
  • Demonstrated on the job system administration experience in Linux and Windows including user management, drive and mount configuration, systems monitoring, and networks configuration.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience exhibiting oral and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated on the job experience briefing heads of departments and agencies.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing functional requirements for complex integrated ADP systems and allocating those requirements to system design components.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s Notebook.
