GDIT has an opportunity for a Tactical Ground Systems Software (TGS) technician for Kuwait. Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance, and TGS experience


    Ensures proper initial installation as well as subsequent Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert

    • Serves as a DCGS-A Field Tactical Ground System (TGS) Service Analyst.
    • Initializes, puts into operation, and troubleshoots the TGS system’s hardware and software interfaces for military field or garrison operations.
    • Deploys, configures, and documents complex VMware environments.
    • Installs, configures, and maintains the vCenter server instance and its applicable database server / services.
    • Installs and configures Socket (Geospatial eXploitation Products) GXP, TGS, One System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), and Joint Tactical Terminal (JTT) systems.
    • Maintains Cisco switches configurations for TGS.
    • Installs, configures, and maintains all Elastic Sky X (ESX) / Elastic Sky X Integrated (ESXi) hosts within the environment.
    • Manages snapshots of Virtual Machines (VM).
    • (IAVA), Operating System (OS), and Internetwork Operating System (IOS) update / patch installations.
    • Provides over-the shoulder training (OTST) for TGS maintainers.
    • Provides routine status updates to organizational leadership.
    • Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.
    • Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
    • Troubleshoots a variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
    • Performs a variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
    • Prepares and presents a variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
    • Provides advice and a variety of onsite training for customer support personnel.
    • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
    • May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)


    • TS/SCI clearance.
    • Security+ CE (Current)
    • AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Windows/Linux/VMWare server and client software, patching, upgrading, and maintaining.
    • Understanding of networking principles and system network configuration
    • Software install and troubleshooting skills
    • Willing to travel.
