Our work depends on a Senior System Administrator - Virtualization joining our team to support FBI activities at Quantico, VA.

As a Senior System Administrator – Virtualization supporting the Operational Technology Division, you will be trusted to work on Windows, Citrix and Linux technologies in both production and development environments and manage and maintain virtualized environment to support the needs of the domain.  In this role, a typical day will include:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborating with the Operational Technology Division to plan, lead projects as required and produce a complete delineation of products and services, support equipment, computer, and electronic equipment installations required for the site. 
• Plan, direct, and, if necessary, conduct regular, special, and integrated system test programs on virtualization equipment
• Prepare and conduct special reports and presentations for site operations
• Conduct integrated equipment system testing
• Plan, prepare and conduct on the job training to FBI and junior Contractor personnel, as required
• Coordinate with other field engineers to the benefit of the FBI
• Support the unit with other duties as assigned

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Install, configure, implement, and validate installation of components on networks including but not limited to:
• Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
• Citrix ADC (Netscaler)
• Microsoft (current Version) Failover Cluster
• Microsoft (current Version) Hyper-V Manager
• Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
• Hypervisors and virtualization sub-systems
• Container Systems
• Infrastructure as Code methodologies
• ustom solutions based on available technologies to deliver virtualization platforms to end users with defined groups and access controls
• Administering a variety of virtualization environments including Windows,
• Citrix and Linux
• Using scripting languages, mainly but not limited to PowerShell
• Providing advanced troubleshooting and support

• Top Secret Clearance
• Must be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access
