General Dynamics Information Technology has opportunities available for compassionate and caring contact center professionals to support our National Assistance Center. In this role, you will be tasked with responding to inquiries and providing guidance, information, and additional assistance as necessary, while serving in this critical support role.

A day in the life of a Data Entry Operator includes:

  • Completing call guides, following scripts; gathering, entering and verifying required information
  • Adhering to established customer service and documentation standards within required time frames
  • Adhering to established levels of service
  • Adhering to contact center scheduling, ensuring telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation
  • Attending telephone skills and program information training sessions addressing policies, procedures and the handling of confidential information related to personal information

QUALIFICATIONS:

You MUST have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; AND
  • 1 or more years of related customer service and/or contact center experience
  • Live within 60 miles of San Antonio, TX
  • Access to 10 Mbps of download speed and 1 Mbps of upload speed of dedicated internet bandwidth (Satellite provided Internet Service will not qualify)
  • Ability to work remotely (from the comfort of your own home) in a quiet work environment free from distraction
  • Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
