The Contracts and Acquisition Management Office of GDIT is seeking an experienced Subcontracts leader with advanced understanding of Federal Government contracting for our Defense Division. The leader of this group must have proven ability to lead staff and extensive Federal subcontract management experience.  

Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:

*Lead a team to deliver superior subcontract support and customer experience.
• Work collaboratively with leadership to improve and implement consistent acquisition processes
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the business on subcontract issues
• Work collaboratively with Division Contracts leadership
• Ensure compliance with corporate and FAR Purchasing System requirements in all subcontracts

To qualify, you must meet these basic qualifications:


• Bachelor’s Degree required and 10+ years in US Federal Acquisition experience preferred or Master's Degree preferred
• Experience in leading high performing teams and managing personnel
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Experience in change management, team-building, collaboration in developing innovative business models, and the ability to communicate and work with audiences ranging from entry-level employees to the president of the company.
• Understanding the principles of fair and reasonable pricing (price analysis) and price negotiations
• Experience in identifying risks in subcontracts terms and conditions and facilitates the mitigation of those risks
• Possess strong analytical, problem solving skills and ability to think strategically with financial and business acumen skills
• Possess and lead with an adaptable, agile and forward thinking mindset
