GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
An I2TS 3 Systems Administrator Level 3 will:
Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within operational guidelines.
Produce global enterprise-level designs for secure Active Directory and Identity systems for global initiatives
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, track, prioritize remediate or mitigate per policies.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory design and Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
Own root cause analysis and problem management for corporate Identity Management environment.
Lead projects through implementation via collaboration with all IT, security and support teams.
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
Identify opportunities and improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
Document processes and solutions.
Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for Active Directory task and activities
Provide Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problem
Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process
Install/load operating system and application software
Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems
Desirable Skills / Experience:
Experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Certificate Services, Lightweight Directory Services, Group Policy, Single Sign On and Multi-Faction Authorization solutions
Experience working with large AD enterprises to include DNS and DHCP technologies
Experience working with MECM ( Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager)
Experience working with Microsoft RDS (Remote Desktop Services)
Experience working with Microsoft Exchange
Experience working with Microsoft Print Services
Experience working in large DoD enterprise network environments
Experience working with DISA STIGs
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMware and/or Microsoft technologies
Minimum 10 years overall IT experience with 5-7 years of experience working with Identity technologies including Active Directory, Federation, Multi-Factor Identification, Identity Governance Administration, Privileged Access Management, Group Policies and similar systems.
5+ years IT engineering experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment
Certifications in Microsoft Technology, Microsoft Server Administration and Information Security preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of related experience, or Associate’s Degree with 6 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience
Certification(s):
Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
Required Computing Environment certification: MCSA Windows Server 2016 or equivalent to start.
Required Computing Environment certification: MCSE Windows Server 2016 or higher can obtain within 180 days of hire date.
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI required
Additional:
Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
