Responsibilities:

Under the LO ISR task order, our team will manage network and security operations including Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities; day-to-day network activities within the airborne LO ISR enterprise; and flight scheduling, tracking and training for US Air Force units and Forward Operating Locations supported from Creech Air Force Base in Indian Springs, Nevada.

The role of Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is pivotal to the program’s success, in this role you will:

  • Provide daily network oversight and safeguards for operational, test, and training personnel/students utilizing Special Access Program information systems. 
  • Support Information Security (INFOSEC) Management program to include establishing local procedures for the delegation and exercise of classification and declassification authority; development of classification guidance, document marking, safeguarding, and use; personnel access controls; need to know criteria; physical storage and control; and transmitting, transferring, reproducing, downgrading, and destroying information.
  • Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policies between multiple locations including, but not limited to, Foreign Operating Locations, Continental United States operational locations, and higher headquarters.
  • Conduct periodic information systems assessments and report results to appropriate personnel. Plans, prepares, and presents Information Security training and education.
  • Collaborate with Information Systems Security Manager regarding standards and procedures to protect environment.
