Must have at least eight (8) years of specialized knowledge of airport operations, civil engineering, construction requirements, permitting, construction management and ATC/Ops coordination and must have a Civil Professional Engineer (PE) license. The PE license is needed for activities such as applying for Tenant Alteration Application (TAA) which allows work on the airfield and a PE seal for drawings as required. In addition, the Infrastructure SME must have specialized knowledge of airport operations (specifically surface traffic management), construction requirements regarding shelters and in-ground cabling, the basic permitting process with State and Local authorities, construction management on airport projects and ATC/Ops coordination are required. This includes cabling that integrates a communication system onto the copper power conductor, understanding of RWSL circuit transformers (or comparable circuit transformers as judged by the Government), and addressable light controllers and fixtures.

Analyzes and diagnoses highly complex and critical IT infrastructures for optimal operability.

Provides highly advanced partnership and collaboration with internal and external chief technology and information officers throughout the entire life-cycle of projects to define, design, and implement business process based solutions.

Provides highly complex metrics to optimize team delivery and measure business agility in terms of predictability, reliability, and adaptability.

Provides highly innovative strategic advice on the design and implementation of technology solutions to meet business needs.

Maintains current and advanced knowledge of progressive and advancing technology.

Provides expert guidance and leadership to less-experienced technology personnel.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: must have a college degree in engineering plus an air traffic operations background and at least 10 years of experience in systems engineering of air traffic management systems.
