Customer Services and Information Technology Officer

And our work depends on a Customer Services and Information Technology Officer joining our team to support Government activities at Herndon, VA. At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Customer Services and Information Technology Officer supporting the customer, you will be trusted to act as the on-site point of accountability for Information Technology (IT) and operate, maintain, install and manage IT systems to a diverse customer base. In this role, a typical day will include:
Work in close collaboration with a small team of IT Officers to maintain the customer's mission critical IT platforms
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to customer systems, software, hardware or networks
Identify, analyze, and implement process changes
Use Active Directory to perform password resets, grant share drive access, submit new accounts or group access
Identify, research and resolve technical problems (hardware/software)
Perform workstation deployments and upgrades
Collaborate with network and storage administrators to resolve technical problems
Manage the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
Minimum of 2 years related experience.
Technical Skills: Experience with active directory, Windows 7, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of hardware/application troubleshooting skills.
Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
