Core responsibilities
Supports the analytic and assessment efforts for a portfolio of multilingual news/current affairs websites.
Responsible for preparation of reports and briefings summarizing performance of online content (including audience reaction).
Works with a team to respond to requests from a variety of stakeholders for insights, information, and curated data sets.
Composes brief written summaries of key findings, audience reactions, or media mentions.
Applies web analytics and social media measurement best practices.
Makes recommendations for developing or improving a range of different reports.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Knowledge of social media and web metrics analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, backlink analysis, etc), and commonly used business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
Knowledge of online marketing analysis and management tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc).
Basic familiarity with online publishing and content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc)
Comfortable gathering or exporting data sets, filtering data, and generating data visualizations.
Comfortable using standard productivity tools including MS Office.
Bachelors degree and 03 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
Familiarity or interest in international affairs and news
Familiar with online marketing and SEO/SEM strategies
Foreign language skills in Middle Eastern or Central Asian languages
Exposure to or knowledge of any programming languages
Masters degree
