In this role, a typical day will include:

Providing systems engineering, design, and technical support as required for the design, development, analysis, and support of IT solutions for information and data sharing, C4/Cybersecurity capacity development, and knowledge management. 

Project planning, design, analysis, troubleshooting, installation, retrofit, maintenance, user console hardware/software interoperability, test and evaluation, and independent verification/validation for products developed by other manufacturers or contractors.

Providing system sustainment, training, and documentation of the virtualized client environment.

Assisting the AFNORTH Circuit Management Office (CMO) in providing circuit management support for CONUS in support of the Air Defense mission.

The contractor shall use the tools of the trade to include, but not limited to, a DISA web based order entry system, DISA repository system, shared trackers and organization mailbox. 

Gathering necessary technical information to build and submit Telecommunications Service Requests (TSRs), interpret Telecommunications Service Orders (TSOs) and Status of Acquisition Messages (SAMs), complete Delayed Service Requests (DSRs) and In-Effect Reports (IERs), and close out the requirement by filing all messages and updating shared trackers.

Assisting the AFNORTH ISSM with Cyber Security planning and execution.

Preparing and delivering incident vulnerability identification and assessment, Cyber event auditing/reporting, DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) documentation, Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation, and Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M). 

Scanning systems for vulnerabilities and apply applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

Assisting the A6 staff with project management to include planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects.

Leading and guiding the work of technical staff and serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. 

Planning project stages and assessing business implications for each stage. 

Monitoring progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

8+ years of experience

IAT Level II Certification

Secret Clearance required
