manages the responsibilities of the successful completion of all tasks in assigned projects.
The IT Quality Analyst who will inspect the accomplished work of the team of O&M technicians to ensure that it is aligned with quality deliverables, work products and documentation, focuses on preventing, detecting, and correcting potential quality issues before they impact any project, tasks or operations, advocates process improvement, using lessons learned early in the project to improve both the project processes and the end products and conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
Reviews and evaluates software products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards. Develops software/systems testing procedures and conducts tests.
Description of Duties:
Reviews change requests and artifacts for quality and compliance with standards
Review databases and tickets for accuracy
Conducts spot checks, audits and inspections to identify discrepancies
Provides training to other resources assigned quality control duties
Performs quality inspections, verifications and process validations
Completes verification and validation activities through performance of inspections, mission plans and procedures, technical data package, others
Ensures product and processes are executed to documented requirements.
Interfaces and interacts with other teams, management, and the customer to achieve objectives.
Captures quality data and helps prepare reports on quality metrics and results, assist with identification, resolution and closure of non-conformances/non compliances.
Tracks and reports progress of product through life cycle and support materials / tooling.
Perform work phases in all phases of product life cycle from incoming through product verification, validation
Participates in special projects as required.
BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
8+ years of directly related experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
years' experience in the quality control/assurance discipline
Experience with Microsoft products with focus on MS Excel
Be familiar with ISO-9001 and 20000, Software Capability Maturity Model (CMM), Software Acquisition Capability Maturity Model and ITIL
Possess comprehensive knowledge of the quality control and/or assurance disciplines
ITIL Intermediate certification
Because of the sensitive nature of the work being done for this government client, all candidates must hold a TS/SCI and be willing to take and pass a CI Polygraph if requested.
