At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Logistics Analyst, you will be trusted to work independently and deliver agile solutions. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Maintaining good communication with the team
  • Working with the training division that ensures that officers and key partners have the tradecraft and skills necessary to execute the Sponsor Organization’s operational missions in diverse and constantly evolving operating environments
  • Will work as part of the Mission Support Group Team, which provides support services for the division
  • The Team is looking for an energetic, customer service, detail oriented individual to support WMA customers at multiple locations
  • Logistics Officer will interact with all levels within the division to include some external customers including IC organizations and industry partners.  This position will represent the support team when interacting with the 1000+ customer base
  • Logistics Officer will be expected to coordinate the full range of requirements for different functions with other elements within the Sponsor Organization
  • Logistics Officer will ensure that correspondence or actions are coordinated accordingly with the appropriate offices or officer and make sure that processes in place when it relates to training classroom setup
  • Logistics Officer will assist with obtaining vendor quotes for unique items, submit procurement items via the proper channels, track and follow-up with procurements
  • Logistics Officer may be expected to provide remote assistance for other customers in the WMA and distant locations
  • Logistics Officer will need to perform duties as it relates to Accountable Property and Vehicle Fleet Management (i.e. assist with GSA vehicle exchanges, obtain necessary inspections, and adhere to proper reporting requirements)
  • Travel is sporadic, Logistics Officer may be required to visit other sites in WMA for inventory or spend up to one week of pre-planned travel at STC
  • Logistics Offer will order supplies and when required will research alternative solutions and/or alternative purchasing options for customer for a range of items such as typical office supplies to tradecraft specific materials with minimal oversight from customer
  • Will arrange occasional property turn-in disposal of materials and maintenance of material records as part of their routine duties
  • Logistics Officer will also be responsible for tracking non-monetary awards
  • Logistics Officer will assist with numerous facilities projects to include office renovations/moves and help coordinate facilities O&M requirements


  • HS Diploma
  • 4 years of experience
  • TS/SCI w/polygraph
  • Core hours are between 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM
  • Required to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience with Microsoft Office at intermediate proficiency with Outlook, including Excel and Word at the intermediate level
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driver’s record
  • Must have experience with packing and packing lists as it pertains to the building mailroom
